Our commitment

This site is used by residents who may be older, may have a disability, or may be reading on an old phone over a poor connection. We treat accessibility as part of whether the site works at all, not as an extra.

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA.

What we have done

• Every page works from the keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
• Content is written in plain English and structured with real headings.
• Meaning is never carried by colour or animation alone — the animated flow diagram repeats everything in text and can be paused.
• Animation is reduced automatically when your device asks for reduced motion.
• Form fields have permanent labels, clear hints and errors announced to screen readers.
• Text reflows at 400% zoom without horizontal scrolling.

Known limitations

This site is new and has not yet had a full independent audit. If you find something that does not work for you, that is useful information and we would like to hear it.
